Day by Day
Warm welcome by your local guide, scenic drive to Thimphu via the historic Tachhog Lhakhang Iron Bridge, traditional Bhutanese lunch, afternoon at Norzin Lam market, evening Flag Lowering Ceremony at Tashichho Dzong.
Overnight in Thimphu
National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Motithang Takin Preserve Centre, Sangaygang Viewpoint, National Institute for Zorig Chusum, Bhutan Postal Museum, Centenary Farmers’ Market.
Overnight in Thimphu
Drive over Dochula Pass and its 108 chortens, visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple), Punakha Dzong at the river confluence, walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge.
Overnight in Punakha
Drive back to Paro via Chuzom river confluence, visit the National Museum of Bhutan and Rinpung Dzong, evening stroll through Paro Town.
Overnight in Paro
Early breakfast, iconic 5–6 hour round-trip hike to Taktsang Monastery perched 900m above the Paro Valley.
Overnight in Paro
Transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure flight.
