Day by Day
Airport welcome, transfer to Thimphu, afternoon visit to the Motithang Takin Preserve.
Overnight in Thimphu
Early birding stop at Dochula Pass, then on to Punakha Dzong at the river confluence.
Overnight in Punakha
A full day birding along the Mo Chhu with a naturalist guide, capped with a gentle introductory raft float.
Overnight in Punakha
Drive to Phobjikha Valley, home to the endangered black-necked crane, guided nature walk at dusk.
Overnight in Gangtey
Morning birdwatching in Gangtey, drive back towards Paro via Wangdue with a riverside picnic lunch.
Overnight in Paro
Morning at leisure, airport transfer.
